Suit Up, We’re Going to JCPenney’s

JCPenney and WVU Parkersburg have teamed up to provide students with an opportunity to obtain career dress apparel for up to 60% off storewide on Sunday, Sept. 15. The Grand Central Mall JCPenney’s, located at 200 Grand Central Mall, Vienna, WV 26105, will offer big discounts to students, faculty, staff and alumni of WVU Parkersburg from 3-6 p.m. 

Students will have access to options in the men’s and women’s dress apparel as well as shoes and accessories when you use the extra 30% off Suit Up Coupon. Students should come prepared with their student ID to receive the special discount offers. New items added to the list this semester include men’s khakis, men’s basics, fashion jewelry, handbags, luggage and more. 

Also, JCPenney is offering free mini-makeovers and hair consultations from Sephora and the JCPenney Salon to students who participate in the event. Sephora will be giving out a sample for students who stop by and the salon is accepting appointments ahead of time as well as on-site hair consultations. 

Sandy Swisher, Career Services Program Specialist, says that WVU Parkersburg teamed up with the local JCPenney for this nationwide Suit Up event in hopes to get students ready for the upcoming career fair the same semester. 

“The timing of the event is almost two weeks before the career fair to provide students an opportunity to buy their outfit in advance,” Swisher said.
