WVU Parkersburg’s bookstore is for students, not only for buying books, but also for apparel, snacks, electronic devices and school supplies to fit every need. Bookstore manager, Sarah Robinson, and the staff, want to help you find what you are looking for, so there’s no reason to hesitate to ask for help when looking for supplies needed for class. Every faculty and staff member at WVU Parkersburg wants to see their students succeed, and they are dedicated to making it happen.  

WVU Parkersburg provides books and access codes for just about any course students take at the University in the bookstore, each course comes with its own CRN number, which is what to look for when getting books off the bookstore shelves. If you are worried about pricing, they accept financial aid and will also price match with Amazon. It’s an easy and fast way to get books rather than waiting for them to come in the mail. 

Right now the bookstore is selling WVU Parkersburg apparel, and they even have 75 percent off selected items such as youth sizes and baby clothing. If you’re looking for a new backpack before your “new” experience at college, the bookstore has many different Jansport and Adidas options. If you are more of an outdoors person, the bookstore also sells different types of sunglasses. 


Recently at WVU Parkersburg, the institution has gotten new vending machines. If there’s nothing in the machines that fits your cravings, the bookstore has plenty of options also. The bookstore sells candy, drinks, protein bars and a wide variety of snacks.

If your major uses specialized electronics for courses, the bookstore can help you find what you need. They sell different types of electronics such as the T4 series calculator, tablets and computers.   

WVU Parkersburg wants all their students to enjoy their experience at the school. The bookstore is located in room 1118B, and are open Monday through Thursday 8a.m.-4:30p.m and Friday 8a.m.-1p.m. 

“We’re not just a bookstore, we’re here to help you in anyway we can,” Robinson said.
