As the beautiful season of fall comes, there’s no better place in the Mid-Ohio Valley to celebrate than Butcher’s Family Farm. Located in Washington, WV, this family oriented farm has kept its gates open every spring and fall since the 1930s.
Butcher’s Family Farm is a great place to take your family for fall activities and pictures. With all of the vibrant colors and beautiful displays, there is pretty much a guarantee that the visitors will not be disappointed.
Admission for everyone of all ages is absolutely free. There are plenty of pumpkins, mums and fresh produce to buy for reasonable prices. The beautiful mums are definitely a main attraction, and there’s even a flower wall for pictures.
With the beautiful scenery and decorations, the farm is definitely known for the pictures taken here, but the apple butter and kettle corn is a huge hit as well. Thankfully, the friendly and helpful staff is constantly adding new exciting things to make every single visit interesting.
Everybody loves Butcher’s Family Farm and its Family Fun Day. It is the place to let the kids roam while the parents can actually enjoy the atmosphere. No child can be bored with all of the displays, animals, hayrides and crafts offered. Once the kids pick their own pumpkins from the huge selection, pumpkin painting is a must. It is highly recommended to visit the farm with family and friends to enjoy all the great activities, scenery and fresh air.
