Sail Through the Black Friday Sales
by Jessica Madison
Nov. 24 may just be another day to some, but it’s the day Black Friday falls on. For others, this bargain shopping adventure will start on Thanksgiving day. This “starts” Christmas shopping for so many, and it is known as the busiest shopping day of the year. So, what do you need to know before you go out shopping?
You need to make a game plan before you just head out. Some people have been planning this for weeks or even months. Black Friday ads started leaking in September, and there are many people who watch store websites to be prepared. There are many sites that you can go to and be able to see that ads right now, or you can be old fashioned and wait until they are in the Thanksgiving day newspaper. A few good websites to look at ads are: https://www.bradsdeals.com/black-friday#ads, https://www.theblackfriday.com/ or https://bestblackfriday.com/ads.
The best thing to do is to have the list of the gifts you are looking for, and to look for them in the ads. Then, compare the ads from store to stores, and see where you can get the best deals. A big key is to prioritize what items you need and what items can wait. If it is a big ticket item, you are going for then make sure that is the first thing you need to go for. Also, you need to be prepared to wait in line for it. Some people will camp out overnight for the hot ticketed items. Once you get your hot ticket items, you want then you can hit the other things on your list. Stores like Walmart, JCPenney and Target all run great deals on items like pajamas, pillows and towels.
So, get out those ads and find where to start and where to finish. But, even when you are out to get those deals, to remember to be nice and kind. This is the most wonderful time of the year, the deals are not worth making someone’s day miserable.
