Artsbridge Hosts Downtown Merchants and Artists Walk

Artsbridge is hosting their first Merchants and Artists Walk on April 28 from 6 p.m. -10 p.m. on Market Street. This event will include live music, creative art displays and eating and shopping at Parkersburg’s unique merchants. There will also be a gift basket available for participants to win by visiting each merchant.

Several vendors will set up at Point Park Marketplace as well as Artsbridge. A few of the vendors include Limelight, LipSense, LulaRoe, Peyton & Preppy Boutique and several more. Other participating businesses include Classic Plastics Toy Store, The Coffee Bar, Parkersburg Art Center, The Smoot Theatre and many more.

“This event was presented to PKB by a committee at Artsbridge and we decided to partner with them to make it possible,” Wendy Shriver, Executive Director of Downtown PKB, said.

Trinity Episcopal Church will also be having their Fine Junque Sale during this event. They are located at 430 Juliana Street and will be included in the walk. Maps will be available showing all of the participating locations.

“Participants are invited to pick up a map at Artsbridge or print it off of our website in the coming weeks,” Shriver said.

This event will conclude with a live concert from the MIXX Band at the Point Park Marketplace from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
