The Grand Central Mall begins to undergo many changes to its stores in March and April. Last weekend, Torrid had its grand opening. The mall was filled with black torrid bags. Torrid is a plus size lady store and the sister company of Hot Topic. They sell clothes for women sizes ten and up.
“I am really excited for the new store, they have a lot of nice line of fashion,” Manager at Hot Topic Mariah Thomas said.
The Grand Central Mall released on their website: Grand Central Mall’s newest addition, Torrid, joins its eclectic mix of nationally recognized and locally owned retailers. Torrid is located near the recently remodeled and expanded Victoria’s Secret and PINK. Grand Central Mall is proud to bring some of the most sought-after names in retail, such as Torrid, to the Mid-Ohio Valley area, said Jody Hopkins, general manager at Grand Central Mall. “This is an exciting time for Grand Central Mall as we continue to evolve, offering a varied selection of fashion forward retailers.
“The sales person that helped me was amazing, she helped me with my purchase and explained to me the Haute Cash back,” said Shopper Rachel Williams.
The Torrid grand opening had a great turn out, and the Pinewood Derby took place on the same day. With the new store, another one will be leaving Grand Central Mall.
