Classic Plastics Hosts Toy and Comic Expo

Classic Plastics Toy Store is hosting their fourth annual toy and comic expo. This two-day event is taking place Sat. March 4, 2017 at 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sun. March 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Parkersburg Art Center located at 725 Market Street.
All proceeds go to the Downtown PKB and the Parkersburg Art Center. Admission is $5 per person, kids 10 and under are free with paid adult admission. You can also purchase a two-day pass for $8 per person.
Tony Workman, owner of Classic Plastics Toy Store and founder of Classic Plastics toy and comic expo said, “This is our first two-day show, and we are really looking forward to breaking our last year’s record of 1,200 people through the doors. We will be bringing in a Red Power Ranger, Steve Cardenas and a 80s toy creator Tim Clarke.”
Several vendors will be present for this event including Ghostbusters WV Division, The Shire, Classic Plastics Toy Store and many more. They are also having a cosplay craftsmanship contest. Current categories for this contest are Exhibition, Juniors, Original Design, Novice, JourneyMan and Master.
Workman stated, “Savor Saturday will be hosted by Downtown PKB and will coincide with us on Saturday starting at noon and we will also have cosplay contest, Lego building, 80 vendors, gaming tournament, table top events and more.”
