The time of year has come again when everyone is wanting change. Many people have their own ways to express their “new year, new me” resolutions, with one of the most popular being a new hair style. If you are one of these people, you’re in luck. This Friday, Feb. 10, Market Street in downtown Parkersburg will gain a new business that specializes in haircuts, coloring, highlights and waxing. Aspire Salon & Clinic’s grand opening is from 2 p.m – 7 p.m.
This salon is an expansion of their other location that is in the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital Building B, which is part of the new cancer center where they offer specialized service to patients that need help with hair thinning. The new addition has a special surprise. It will be an Aveda concept salon with their staff being fully trained by Aveda members. This will be the only salon in the Mid-Ohio Valley to have an Aveda concept.
Aveda uses natural, eco-friendly products to help you and your hair to look and feel fresh. Aveda has both professional hair and skin products. From the moment you walk in, you will begin to feel relaxed with the soothing scents of aromatherapy. Their mission, “to uplift, to rise up, aim for something greater, to bring out the spirit and beauty that lies within each of us by creating a healthy harmonious environment that can calm the spirit or ignite it to our highest level,” combined with their hair services for both men and women, they will offer massages, facials and waxing making their salon the perfect place to unwind and relax.
During the month of February, Aspire will have several specials that allow you to try some of their services for free. They will also offer door prizes and membership offers. So make sure to stop by their grand opening Feb. 10. Their ribbon cutting with the Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce will take place at 2 p.m.
